A perpetual tradition
My dear readers,
Let me tell you about a celebration that I enjoy celebrating, the 85th edition of the Montmartre harvest.
The heart of the 18th arrondissement will celebrate from 10 to 14 October 2018, the arrival of the new vintage of its vineyard. This unique celebration in Paris has become, since 1934, one of the essential rendezvous of the capital.
Planted at the foot of the Sacré Coeur, emblematic monument of Paris, the vineyards of the Clos de Montmartre extend over 1 556 m² and have 1,762 feet of grapes Gamay and Pinot Noir.
Friendliness and Sharing
As far back as I can remember, wine has always been synonymous with sharing. Symbol of tradition, conviviality and authenticity, it highlights all the richness and diversity of the ancestral know-how of winemakers in our regions.
Wine has always been part of French food and gastronomic habits, formerly considered as an important source of nutrition, it is today a central element of our art of living.
The writer Colette affirmed, "With wine, the palaces get wet and the languages are loosened", not only because it disinhibits, dear readers, but because it makes talk about it... The wine is a history of heritage and passions.
It's at the heart of the Inwood hotels, surrounded by my friends and my partner Mlle Inwood, that I like to taste a unique local wine.
My dear readers, remember that the desire to share will move you forward and give you the impetus not only to go through hardships, but also to move forward in your life.
See you soon!
