THE 2018 EDITION WE LOVED!
Summer in Paris is always the time to look for outdoor places where music, good food and atmosphere go hand in hand. What could be better than a rooftop to meet all our expectations?
Last year I discovered THE rooftop of Paris in an atmosphere that is at once vegetal, street and offbeat on the rooftops of a parking near Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in the 15th arrondissement of the capital.
On site, I could see all the activities they offered: 3 giant bars (beer, champagne, vodka...), a food court, DJ sets, screens for projections, all in the open air... I spent very good evenings with my friends around Focaccia, Brazilian food, avocado toast...
If we look back, in the summer of 2018, no less than 3500m2 welcomed 160,000 visitors in the 62 days of opening.
After this dazzling success, the “Jardin suspendu” is back in force this year for our greatest pleasure.
SAME CONCEPT, SAME PLACE, SAME SUCCESS
This year, a hybrid version has been updated to make the largest rooftop in Paris one of the most popular places in the capital!
The “passage enchanté” (also creators of the Grande Surface and the same concept of rooftop at the defense (the “jardin défendu”)), took care of reinvesting the parking in an ephemeral way in order to offer us moments of relaxation like nowhere else.
Hurry up, it started on June 13 and will end on September 8. To get there, take the metro to Porte de Versailles, walk along the Parc des Expositions to the entrance of the structure (opposite 40 rue d'Oradour-sur-Glane) where there will be a security guard. From that moment on, all you have to do is go up one floor and take the elevator to the “jardin suspendu”.
Enjoy a cocktail surrounded by your loved ones while watching the Eiffel Tower and you will see, even in Paris, that you can feel like a holiday.
